The Robin Hood Foundation’s Bless a Granny & Grandpa campaign is in full swing and you’re invited to be part of the Christmas magic by making the wish of a senior citizen come true.
The Robin Hood Foundation will be visiting local old age homes to give the elderly gifts, show them some love and bring a little joy into their lives.
For many old folk, Christmas is a particularly sad time of the year, as they find themselves missing their families.
Most have the basic necessities such as food, shelter and care but lack the extras such as sweets, treats and various toiletries.
You can get involved by either sending an email to robinhoodfund@telkomsa.net, where you will be sent the name of a specifically selected granny or grandpa and their wish list, or by providing a generic gift to the value of R125.
