March 8, 2011. According to a City Press report, ANC Youth League bigwig Julius Malema had yet another case of foot-in-mouth disease when he urged his “revolutionary comrades” to have as many babies as possible.
“Having babies is a revolutionary thing. You must reproduce,” Malema reportedly said.

ANC Youth League spokesman Floyd Shivambu claims that Malema’s words were taken out of context. The league promised to “get the correct context” of what was said by the powerful youth leader.
The comments were made while Malema was addressing a packed hall at Ehlanzeni, Mpumalanga on Friday.
