FitFlop has teamed up with the Wola Nani charity in Cape Town to create the Manyano Slide, a limited edition FitFlop sandal, launching in September 2014.
Leather lined, on an amazing Microwobbleboard midsole, and available in Black, Ultra orange and Nude, the Manyano Slide features hand-beading with Miyuki Japanese seed beads crafted by the women of the Wola Nani cooperative in Cape Town.
Retailing for R1499, FitFlop will donate the entire profit from each pair sold to the Wola Nani organisation to give help through creativity and industry. Wola Nani exists to improve the wellbeing and quality of life for communities and people living with HIV and AIDS. Working with Wola Nani provides the crafters with income, economic empowerment and a sense of worth and hope.
A similar successful 2011 collaboration with Wola Nani saw the creation of the original Manyano design, which was promoted exclusively on www.net-a-porter.com and sold out in days.
In celebration of the launch of the Manyano Slide, FitFlop South Africa also commissioned Wola Nani to create matching bracelets supporting Wola Nani in their mission and allowing you to receive a beautiful hand crafted gift with the Manyano Slide.
