Hillcrest Conservancy has pleasure in offering their Nature Club in Springside Nature Reserve for younger members of the community.
The event will take place on either Saturday 20th or 27th September from 9am to 12pm.
The theme is ‘Animal Tracks’ and Springside Nature Reserve is an ideal place for children to spend time outside and get in touch with nature. The morning will be spent:
1) Learning about different animals and the tracks they leave
2) Taking a nature walk to look for tracks in different habitats in Springside
3) Preparing plaster cast moulds of animal tracks
4) Other fun crafts and activities
Children between the ages of 7 and 12 are allowed to participate at a cost of R60 per child. Apples, biscuits and juice will be provided but if you would like to pack an additional healthy snack for mid-morning please do so.
The entrance to the Reserve can be found at 91 Springside Road, Hillcrest.
