Trail runners are in for a treat on 3 and 4 May, with an exceptional route through the stunning Kranzkloof Nature Reserve – one of our area’s greatest natural treasures. Only 250 runners are allowed on this ecologically sensitive route, so you have to be quick to secure your spot!
The event’s presenting sponsors, Salomon, have partnered with multiple trail events around the country and are a leading supplier of footwear and apparel to the outdoor market.
There is a major commitment and connection with the various communities that the race route covers, with Kloof Conservancy available to assist and support projects related to the race.
Emergency medical care is a major consideration for the event and the team from RescueTech will be on hand to ensure immediate attention to any incidents that occur.
Mark Easton reassured all delegates at a recent organisational workshop that this will be taken care of by his team who have an excellent working knowledge of the Reserve and that they have planned accordingly to cover all possibilities.

Entries are limited to 250 based on the stipulations of Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife.
There will be other events on the weekend of 3 and 4 May 2014, such as the Mini-Molweni for Kids. Spectators are welcome and will be directed to specific viewing points for both safety and logistical reasons.
