The video footage attached was from the 2010 New York No Pants Subway Ride, but Sapa reports that 34 people were arrested in Gauteng on Sunday for a “No Pants Gautrain Ride”. They were fined R700 each.
According to City Press, the event was meant to coincide with the 10th annual “No Pants Subway Ride” in New York. City Press story here.

This is so funny . . . .and in Jo’burg the local version participants are fined for “wearing the wrong clothes…” Only in Africa!
In certain parts of Durban women need to be careful about wearing long pants, never mind undies!
