The Open Door Crisis Centre will be hosting a Charity Fashion Show and High Tea at Knowles Superspar Restaurant on Saturday 27 July from 2-4pm.
The event aims to raise funds to create awareness for child abuse and the psychological effects on children who are the victims of this heinous crime.
On top of the fashion show and tea, there will also be a tutorial on how to be a ‘Recessionista’ and not a ‘Fashionista’.
This will demonstrate how to recession-proof your wardrobe by getting as many outfits as possible out of just a few garments, and how to wear accessories correctly to complete the new ‘recessionista’ outfit!
There will also be a competition in which one guest will win a complete make-over from Kitty Duma, personal stylist from Milady’s Pavilion.
To enter, submit a 120 word paragraph explaining why you should win and send a full-body photograph by no later than 21 July. Entries can be emailed to Thelma or delivered to the Open Door Crisis Care Centre at 7 Windsor Road, Pinetown.
