The Oyster Box is one of 14 hotels within the prestigious, internationally-recognised Red Carnation Hotel Group. Every year a Staff Appreciation Award Ceremony is held in London by the group to honour top performing staff members from across all sectors of the international business. This year more than 1 000 people will attend the glittering award ceremony and gain valuable exposure to international hotel standards during the week-long visit.
A total of 18 Oyster Box staff members will be attending the London celebration this year, accompanied by General Manager Wayne Coetzer. This represents the largest contingent from all the Red Carnation Hotels in South Africa, which includes Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve and Wellness Retreat in the Cederberg and The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa in Cape Town. The team will leave on March 29 and return on April 5.
“After 18 months of operation we are incredibly proud of the way in which every member of our staff have dedicated themselves to making The Oyster Box the best hotel in South Africa,” says general manager Wayne Coetzer. “For many of the group, this will be their first overseas trip and for some their first aeroplane trip, so there is great excitement all-round. I know that the experience will make a huge impact on each one professionally and personally.”
