Glynne Anderson, who ran the hugely successful Canine Academy for many years in Hillcrest, had been delivering her unique brand of humour in a regular column to The Crest from its inception.
The former art teacher/artist was universally known for her outspoken ways, and her extraordinary sense of humour. She’d recently had major back surgery, and had also been diagnosed with cancer. As her son Jan said, “She is finally free of the pain and is across the rainbow bridge with all her old dogs.”
Our sincere condolences to Jan and all of her beloved animals. She will be sadly missed by everyone. Glynne left her mark on The Ridge in a personal way, having trained some of our staff’s own misbehaving pooches. She was a dog trainer and behaviour specialist without peer.
