Another increase in the price of fuel is set to hit South African consumers and businesses next Wednesday.
The retail price of all grades of petrol will go up by 29c on May 4th, taking the price of unleaded petrol at the coast to R9.95 per litre.
The retail price of diesel fuel will go up by 16c per litre, and illuminating paraffin by 20c per litre.
The retail price for LPG will increase by 53c per kg.
According to the Dept of Energy, the increase is due to increases in the international product prices of petrol, diesel and paraffin.
