PMB Animal Rescue and Rehome (P.A.R.R.)
P.A.R.R. is a pro-life animal rescue organisation. Their primary goal is to rescue, rehabilitate, sterilise and rehome stray and abandoned animals.
Vision:
• That all animals will have good food and nourishment
• That all animals should know what it feels like to be loved
• That all animals will express happy and normal behaviour
• That no animal should suffer unnecessary pain, discomfort, fear, distress or injury
• To mobilise outreach clinics to less fortunate and rural areas and to vaccinate and sterilise as many animals as they can
• Educate and support pet owners
P.A.R.R. is often a “last chance saloon” for some of their rescues. They have a team of dedicated volunteers who are these animal’s voices. They do, however, need the help of everyone in the PMB, Hilton and Howick Communities.
How can you help?
• Adopt a rescue animal.
• Register as a foster home for animals that are waiting for their forever homes.
• Make a donation, which can be paid into their respective veterinary accounts – this will assist in paying for essential medical treatments for their rescues.
• Donating food, bowls, collars, leashes, blankets, beds, dewormers, tick and flea treatments, Nexguard, Bravecto and Ectodex dip for mange cases.
• Volunteering to help with transporting their rescues to boarding kennels, their foster homes, vet appointments, etc.
Together we can save thousands of abandoned, injured and stray animals!
