The Sunflower Fund, in association with Kingson Capital and Sanlam Private Wealth, has pulled out all the stops for the 14th instalment of their prestigious Annual Golf Day which takes place on Tuesday 23 July at the prominent Mount Edgecombe Country Club for a limited 144 players. Corporate and private teams alike can expect yet another fabulously fun day as they swing into action for a great cause.
Far from the average charity Golf Day, this distinguished calendar event packs a punch backed by with the clout of some of Durban’s most prominent businesses and affiliates. The cost per 4-ball is R2800 which includes a trendy goodie bag, green fees as well as dinner. The format is a 4-ball alliance, two scores to count and the top twenty teams will receive significant prizes.
Funds raised from the Golf Day will enable The Sunflower Fund to create awareness and education about blood stem cell donation, recruit more blood stem cell donors, grow the patient support fund and maintain a registry of committed donors. This, in turn, means greater hope of life for patients who are diagnosed with life-threatening blood diseases and who are in need of a blood stem cell transplant from a matching unrelated donor.
Thank you to sponsors Sanlam Private Wealth, Kingson Capital and Mount Edgecombe Country Club for their generous support.
