RBT is a young, vibey and fun music school based in Hillcrest. They endeavour to keep music light-hearted while also providing quality education in music. They provide lessons for all levels of musicians (beginner, intermediate and advanced) in guitar, bass, piano, drums, voice and music theory. All teachers are qualified in music and help prepare students for music exams with the option of university, should they wish to study music further.
With RBT you have a variety of genres to choose from, be it rock, pop, jazz, blues, gospel or classical, and teachers are equipped and ready to meet the needs of each student. The team at RBT are very mindful of the individuality of their students thus they provide the options of grading and certification with Trinity (classical) or Rockschool (modern contemporary). Should students not wish to do grading, they are equally as supportive and will continue with their musical journey.
The lessons are individually based as they believe students of any age are unique and should be treated as such. That being said, they also host a variety of instruments which gives students the opportunity to meet other musos and play together at their annual showcase evening.
