East Coast Radio reported that police were investigating after a man was robbed of a large sum of money near the East Coast Radio House building on Monday.
It appears the man was an employee at a local petrol station.
According to witnesses, the robbers fired shots into the air as they made their getaway.
An eyewitness said: “I heard six gunshots, and it was a bit nerve-wracking because I couldn’t see where it was coming from,” she said.
“And then I saw what looked like a silver X5 with the back door open, and I saw them throw a small black object out of the door, and they sped off.”
