The Sandy Beach Walk covers 14km from Umhlanga Life Saving Club to Suncoast Casino, Hotels and Entertainment, taking place on Sunday, 10 August 2014.
Running for the third year, Durban’s family beach walk or run takes place on beach sand from start to finish. Previously participants crossed the Umgeni River on rafts, but this year the organisers have laid down a Floating Bridge across the river. That’s not the only new attraction added to the race, a live music concert will take place at the finish line for all to enjoy.
