Followers of the Sardine Run will be interested to know that after a busy day in Durban yesterday, with a number of nets pulled in, most of the action has now headed off further south to Amanzimtoti, Warner Beach and Chain Rocks.
The KZN Sharks Board reported that nets had already been taken at Chain Rocks early this morning.
Head of Operations for the Sharks Board, Mike Anderson-Reade, who compiles the daily Sardine Hotline report, commented that there was also lots of Sardine Run activity from Glenmore on the lower South Coast towards Port Edward, with loads of fish, and gannets providing the entertainment with their spectacular diving.
He said there could possibly be netting in Durban later in the day.
The swell is at 1m to 1.5m all along the coast with a moderate offshore wind.
