The 11th Annual ‘Shaken, Not Stirred’ Mum’s Mail High Tea in association with The Sunflower Fund took place on 2 September at Durban’s Greyville Convention Centre. The sold out event was a huge success and an amount of almost R215 000 was raised for The Sunflower Fund.
The main purpose of this annual event is to raise funds and awareness for The Sunflower Fund, enabling the fund to recruit more stem cell donors for inclusion on the SA Bone Marrow Registry, in turn giving hope to patients diagnosed with life threatening blood disorders who are in need of a stem cell transplant.
