The Durban based Celebrate Life SA team is hosting a “Spring Affair” at a Tasca Restaurant, Kensington Drive, Durban North, from 18h00 on the 15th October 2015.
The cost is R200 per person which includes all the food and an evening of fun with friends. All the proceeds from this event will go towards the Oven Community Project to raise funds for the community bread making project.
The bread making project is a Celebrate Life SA initiative established to empower communities in rural and previously disadvantaged areas. Ovens for bread making are handed to individuals or groups giving them the chance create business opportunities and the ability to earn an income.
Cherry Armstrong, Founder of Celebrate Life SA, said that the project was growing at an incredible pace and they were immensely proud of the successes achieved to date. “For charity to add value it needs to be self-sustainable and this model provides that opportunity. Come and join us at the “Spring Affair” to support this wonderful initiative, nothing beats putting a smile on the faces of the less privileged”, she added.
