Friends Julia James and Roxy Message established Saint&Summer in 2014 – a product of their shared love of fashion and the fabulous outdoor lifestyle we enjoy. As born and bred Durbanites, the pair have a strong vision for the brand, wanting to inspire women the world over with the warmth and spirit of South Africa.
The pair design the sandals themselves, based on market research and the hottest internationals trends. “Saint&Summer delivers cool, urban styles to fashion forward women,” says Roxy, who also owns Roxstar Bikinis. “We love the simplicity of our designs and both wear the shoes almost every day. There is no bigger compliment than people commenting on how stunning they are and asking where we bought them!”
“Nude is big this summer so it’s been flying out, but nothing beats the sophistication of a black beaded sandal,” says Julia.
The sandals come in a range of styles, but all are made with a distinctive matte PVC jelly, exclusive to Saint&Summer. This ensures the shoes are soft and comfortable, perfect for the woman on the go.
