There was a great turnout at the annual Guild of St Mary’s Old Girls’ day, with more than 100 past pupils mingling and swapping stories. There were those that had only been out of school for six years chatting to those who were celebrating their 30 year reunions and more.

The day started, as always, with a moving Chapel service and then a presentation in the Learning Resources Centre. This was followed by a nostalgic tour of the school and a very important visit to the archives room where there was much laughter and reminiscing and the comments ‘Do you remember..’
The day ended in the school dining room where a delicious lunch was provided by the school caterers and the tables were cleverly decorated by the Old Girls committee with a lavender theme – perfect for a spring day.
