Durban North gets new live theatre

Durban North now boasts  a brand new supper theatre opening at the Italian Club at number 82, Fairway.

The Stirling Theatre provides a perfect opportunity for Durban North and Umhlanga families and friends to enjoy a great night out at a price they can afford, close to home.

The hall seats up to 350 patrons at tables of 8 to 10 and there is plenty of secure parking available at the venue. Stirling Theatre patrons can order from an a la Carte menu at the club and there is also a fully stocked bar on site providing drinks at very reasonable prices. No alcohol or food can be brought on to the premises.

Shows run over weekends only and show times are 8pm Fridays and Saturday nights, and 7pm Sundays. Ticket prices are R80 and booking is essential. Bookings can be made by sending an e-mail to

LINE-UP
August: Kicking off this new venue, is the award winning show The Bald and the Beautiful, starring Evan Roberts, Melanie Roberts, Liesl Coppin and Shelley McLean (pictured above). Performance dates are: 7, 8, 21, 22 August.

September: Lisa Bobbert, Anthony Stonier and Andrew Warburton in the multi-award winning Brutal Tunes. Performance dates are: 4, 5, 11, 12 September.

October: Danny Fisher, ex frontman of the Blarney Brothers, and his angels presents Stars in Your Eyes. Performance dates are: 1, 2, 3, 15, 16, 17 October.
