Name of event – The Durban Wellness Festival
Date of event – Sunday, November 11, 2018
Brief description – Join us for a 5 Km fun run / walk, which includes a wellness festival and other activities- such as lucky draw prizes- between 8am & 12 noon. This festival, which is proudly supported by SASA, Lilly and Clover Tropika Slenda and the Protea Hotel by Marriott – Durban Edward, is being staged to promote general health and wellness and in particular an awareness campaign on behalf of Diabetes SA. There will be free testing stations for blood glucose, blood pressure & foot screening.
Appropriate age group – All ages are welcome (a family affair), even bring your pet dog (on a leash)
Time – Registration commences at 07h00am with the fun run/walk starting at 8h00am sharp with the cut-off at 10h00am. The event lucky draw spot prizes take place at 10h15am.
Venue – The Durban Amphitheatre at the Bay of Plenty
Cost – The 5km fun run / walk is just R60 per person! Visitors are encouraged to attend the Wellness Expo which is free to the public! Proceeds go towards Diabetes SA Durban
