Far from the visions of a shrouded woman in a dark room, Heike Sym – psychic, medium, reiki master, Tarot reader and numerologist – is a breath of fresh air in a world often dogged by confusion
Growing up in a small town in Germany, Heike Sym (above right) never imagined that she would spend her days helping people find balance in their lives by working with energy.
“There are many misconceptions about the word ‘psychic’. Essentially, it is the use of heightened senses. A mother’s sixth sense is just one example – anyone can do it, with practise. I come from an academic background and, with that, I am able to combine the best of both worlds,” Heike explains. “I take my responsibility very seriously, and aim to empower and enlighten.
“Everything is connected by energy and, by linking into your unique frequency, I can reveal underlying patterns, highlight difficulties or opportunities for growth. It’s all about learning and the lessons we chose,” she says.
It all started with a reiki course, which lead Heike to discover a range of other tools. Reiki helps to harmonise body, mind and spirit, clearing blockages and allowing energy to flow where it is needed.
