Michele Wilson – owner and director of Seeff Hillcrest and Kloof – is a woman who knows what she’s doing. From her structured approach to business to the effort she puts into mentoring newcomers to the real estate industry, she treats everything with her trademark pragmatism and curiosity.
More than just running a business, Michele embraces the values of the Seeff brand, using them to guide her personal and commercial decisions. These values are: creativity, excellence, experience, family, integrity and passion.
“Our industry contributes so much to the economy. It’s so powerful and, by being professional and totally service-orientated, I see it as an opportunity for strong-charactered people to make a difference.”

Michele is passionate about bringing young, enthusiastic people into the industry. She co-owns the business with her son, Gregg, who she calls her “right-hand man” and who brings a “fresh, frank and savvy” approach to property sales.
Early in her career, in 2002, Michele was recognised as national agent of the year and uses this experience, as well as her ethic of hard work, to encourage other agents. Property sales is an emotional business. What helps Michele get through difficult situations? “My empathy and need to form relationships has opened many doors for me. I am also able to think on my feet and combine that with a keen sense of humour. It always helps to have a reserve option!”
“To cope in the competitive, fast lane property industry, I try to balance my career challenges with relaxation time and small rewards, which involve my love for game viewing and photography, always surrounded by family and friends.”
Having lived in Hillcrest for a number of years, Michele has watched the neighbourhood grow and believes that it has enhanced the area. “It’s become a vibey village with access to the country life. It’s a two-minute town – close to shopping, schools, home and horses. It’s luxury on your doorstep.”
