The Whisky Live Festival

By The Ridge Magazine17/10/20121 Min Read

On the 1st and 2nd November at the ICC the Whisky Live Festival will be in full swing between 6pm and 10pm each evening.

If you are a whisky lover, this year will put a big smile on your face, with tastings, workshops and VIP alternatives where you can taste fine single malts and relax in the Lifestyle Lounge.

There are a huge number of whisky related activities happening over the Festival, from the chance for a lucky number of guests to fill a bottle of very rare nineteen year old GlenDronach single cask or tastings ranging from Bunnahabhain to The Glenlivet.

If I thought I was excited about the Last Night of the Proms, it pales into insignificance next to my husband’s delight at seeing Dalwhinnie’s name on the list of whiskys showing!

Tickets are available at varying prices from R185 to the ultimate chauffer driven whisky lovers tour at R675 for the evening.  Designate a driver and there is a R90 ticket for them!  Great things are happening in Durban.
