The Umhanga beachfront was a place of great beauty for surfers today. With healthy five foot swells breaking and an immaculate clear sea (you could easily see the rocks on the seabed below the water), the scene was heightened by dark, brooding skies.
Residents, visitors and even lovers took the opportunity to enjoy spectacular scenery and enjoy a stroll on Umhlanga’s iconic pier with views to Umhlanga Lighthouse.
