Big names in business, sport and the entertainment world added gloss to the official launch of Southern Sun’s new Garden Court Umhlanga hotel.
It was a night when the big stars came to town. Among those who enjoyed the Garden Court Umhlanga launch on Thursday were singer Danny K, Idols presenter Liezel van der Westhuizen, Bafana Bafana stars Bongani Khumalo and Morgan Gould and top comedian Raul. On the rugby front, former Bok hooker and SA Rugby Legends mainstay John Allan scrummed down with other VIPs.
Included among the big business names at the event were MD of Southern Sun South Africa Graham Wood, Liberty Properties CEO Samuel Ogbu, MD of the Southern Sun Elangeni Mike Jackson, MD of the Garden Court Umhlanga Clifford Campbell, Tongaat Hulett’s Dave Jollands, eThekwini Municipal Manager Michael Sutcliffe and Deputy Mayor Logie Naidoo. Cracking entertainment and fine food and wine made for an excellent evening all round.
