Recent media reports published about the closing of the restaurant at the uMhlanga Lifesaving Club have created the impression that the club itself has closed – which is not the case at all.
As per the attached letter from the club Chairman indicates, the Lifesaving Club continues to operate as normal in terms of its’ obligations with the council and providing lifesavers who perform lifesaving duties on uMhlanga beach.
