Quiksilver and Gunslinger Longboards have teamed up this year to host the first annual Urban Descent.
Urban Descent is a downhill longboarding race set to be held in Glenwood on Sunday 6 October.
Downhill racing has taken off in a big way in the Western Cape and Urban Descent hopes to bring similar success to KwaZulu-Natal.
Hope to catch the likes of Raoul van den Berg (the current SA Downhill Champion) and Decio Lourenco (who has been showing incredible consistency by winning every race in 2013 to date) attending the race.
The race will take place down Alan Paton Road in Glenwood, starting at 9am.
To take part in the event, register online at www.quiksilver.co.za/urbandescent. Entries close Wednesday 2 October.
