Marshmallow Love Lollies
You will need:
• 10 marshmallows
• 10 lollipop sticks
• 50g milk chocolate
• variety of decorations – cake confetti, coloured sugar crystals, chocolate vermicelli, etc.
• ribbon for decoration
Press a marshmallow onto each lollipop stick. Melt the chocolate in the microwave and dip each marshmallow into the chocolate until half covered.
Allow the excess chocolate to drip off, then dip the lolly into the decorations.
Leave to cool, then tie small pieces of ribbon around the lollies.
Love Bugs
You will need:
• 20 marshmallows
• 10 wooden skewers
• 20 cocktail sticks
• 20 heart-shaped jelly sweets
• 20 Jelly Tots
• 20 small white sugar hearts
• 10 larger red sugar hearts
• Glace icing
Thread two marshmallows onto each wooden skewer. Cut a cocktail stick in half and push the halves sideways into the bottom marshmallow to create ‘arms’. Press a heart-shaped sweet onto each end of the sticks to form the wings. Cut another cocktail stick in two, press both halves into the top of the top marshmallow and push two Jelly Tots onto the tips for antennae. Using a dab of icing, stick two white sugar hearts on the top marshmallow for eyes, and a red heart to the bottom marshmallow. Use a pen with edible ink to draw the pupils and mouth.
