Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe will on Sunday, 27 November 2011, join the Premier of the Province of KwaZulu-Natal Zweli Mkhize and the Minister of Environmental Affairs Edna Molewa in a 3km walk to highlight the challenges of climate change.
The three kilometre walk, called “Walk the Future”, will commence at 10am from uShaka Marine World and continue along the Blue Line on the Durban Coast, ending at the Durban Tourism Information Centre at the corner of KE Masinga Street and OR Tambo Parade.
The walk is a great way for all citizens to show their support in finding solutions for the challenges of climate change the day before COP17, the United Nations (UN) climate change talks start.
