Goodness me, you can tell Spring is here! This is the time of year that I dread the most as I suffer from hay fever terribly, especially in September/October. But on the other hand, it is nice to have a few braais in the evenings again now, which I love.

I am so pleased to announce that we smashed last year’s fundraising total – we raised a staggering R274 000 at this year’s Mum’s Mail High Tea for The Sunflower Fund, which was nearly R60K more than last year! I’d like to say a massive ‘Thank You’ again to everyone who made this event possible, from all of the sponsors – small and large, to the fundraising team, including Alice Leah of The A List and Steph Berry of The Sunflower Fund, to name but a few. Thanks also to my fabulous team at Mum’s Mail and the many volunteers who generously gave of their time to help such an amazing charity! Last but not least though, is the ladies who attended the event – you all looked stunning and contributed so much to make this happen – you should all be very proud of yourselves for being part of such an amazing achievement. Well done indeed. We will now take a few months off before planning commences for next year’s event!
