Kingsley Heath is original, authentic and creatively African, a Durban-based fashion house that puts a modern spin on the rich heritage we all share.

Conceptualised by Durbanites Bruce and Linda Bartholomew in 1994, the brand was bought out by a company that is headed up by Bruce Joubert, who moved it to Durban in 2012. Offering a wide range of clothing and accessories for men and women, Kingsley Heath celebrates all that is awesome about the African continent, from local heroes to the bush, customs, sport and art.

These pieces have a relaxed, worn in feel and a style that resonates with those who have a positive view of Africa and appreciate the freedom a luxury lifestyle brings. “Life is in the details and we are always making our experience better, from our fabric to embellishments and the perfect fit,” says Bruce.
That original one store has now become nine, covering SA and Dubai. Short-term plans include a store in Abu Dhabi, with Germany, the UK, Australia, Hong Kong and the US on the horizon. “We believe Kingsley Heath has the potential to have over 400 stores globally and we would be very proud to take African luxury apparel to the world.”
