Artisanal by nature, 14 ON CHARTWELL launched their new Special Cocktail list on Wednesday 17 October, at an exclusive afternoon reception attended by Durban’s media.
14 ON CHARTWELL is an original amalgamation of an upmarket bar and bespoke restaurant, offering a menu that is littered with artisanal fare and in keeping with the trendy environment.
The special cocktails journey includes a selection of The World Class spirits of Diageo Reserve. The exceptional spirits of the luxury portfolio of Diageo represent richness in heritage, craftsmanship and innovation. Fitch & Leedes, Bespoke Mixers, were used to complement the exclusive spirits.

The Dutch Mosa, a refreshing long cocktail of Ketel One vodka, a touch of blood orange syrup, lemon juice and topped up with sparkling wine. The table serve for up to two people is the perfect start to every 14 On Chartwell experience.
The Bulleit Bobbler is a centre of the universe encounter with the distinguishing spicy, dry and clean palate of Bulleit, a flavour characteristic of the high rye content of the bourbon, shaken with raspberry syrup, full cream sherry and a splash of port.
The 1942 is a truly iconic cocktail, served in something fashionably memorable. The contents are just as noteworthy with Don Julio tequila shaken with grapefruit juice and cinnamon syrup.
The Rosey Ten is a cocktail with huge appeal. Tanqueray No. Ten Gin shaken with rose and raspberry syrup, a splash of Aperol, the Italian aperitif, and topped up with soda water.
The River is the ultimate whisky cocktail with whisky from one of the fastest growing Single Malt Scotch Whisky brands, The Singleton. The Singleton of Dufftown, a 12-year-old whisky is shaken with freshly pressed apple juice, a touch of vanilla syrup and Martini Blanco. Served short.
