Apply for a Highbury bursary

A rare opportunity for your son! In keeping with Highbury Preparatory School’s mission statement of responsible citizenship, the school is delighted to announce that they are offering a limited number of Senior Primary bursaries for 2017.

These are only available to boys who are currently in Grades 3 or 4 in 2016, who are not attending Highbury and who would otherwise be unable to be enrolled in the school. The bursaries will offer partial tuition fee remission for the whole of Senior Primary schooling, from Grades 4 or 5 through to Grade 7, and will be awarded to boys who are all-rounders and able to contribute positively to the life of the school.

Highbury has earned an enviable reputation over the past 113 years for the outstanding quality of its education and the achievements of its Old Boys. A dedicated and caring team of teachers who understand the unique ways in which boys learn and think, combined with superb facilities, ensure that every boy is given the opportunity to achieve his personal best. A key feature of a Highbury education is the holistic approach, balancing academic, sporting, cultural and spiritual development.

“Primary school really is of primary importance,” explains Brendan Carroll, Headmaster of Highbury. “We believe that a well-rounded boy grows up to become a young man who is best equipped to confidently face the challenges of adult life. Highbury is an ideal springboard for your son’s future.”

To apply for one of Highbury’s Senior Primary bursaries for 2017, email marketing@hps.co.za before Friday, July 15, 2016.
