Talented local artists, including Robin Townsend, Ann Cleveland and Colleen Hamer, are once again exhibiting at Robyndale Centre under the banner ART ON THE WAY, from 3 November 2011 until Saturday, 5 November.
Other artists exhibiting are: Nicky Chovuchovu, Albina Mitchel, Margit Pretorius, Thelma Buzzard, Clo Bennet, Angie Arbuthnot, Anna de Vlieg, Dee Harris, Sue Whitmore, Lara Mellon Margie Currie, Alan Cunningham, Denise Becke, Lilian Passet, Rene Breedt, Ronnie Huber and Renee Leslie.
The exhibition will be opened at 6.30pm on the Wednesday with a fun cocktail evening. We are very excited to have the Captain of the Sharks, Keegan Daniel, as our special guest. A casual supper and drinks will be served at R50 a head. Tickets will be sold at the door or contact Angie on 083 6760025 .
The exhibition will open at 9am and close at 5pm. On the Thursday and Friday mornings at 10am, two artists will be speaking on their art. These will be Albina Mitchel, Rene Breedt, Ann Cleveland and Nicky Chovuchovu.
“Our exhibition has been showing up-and-coming local artists’ work for five years,” says Angie Arbuthnot, an organiser and artist.
“Over the years we have seen artists grow and change, and we have been blessed with some amazing works. Durban is rich in talent and we would like to encourage the art followers of KZN to engage in the cultural side of our province, especially following their favourite artists, seeing how they have grown and advanced in their personal journeys.”

Are you by any chance the woman who paints and displays your pictures in Hillcrest Hospital ? I bought one from you last year (but have lost your details) and would love another one painted to match.
Please let me know! 🙂
