uShaka Marine World’s Cargo Hold restaurant is bringing in Women’s Month on a lunchtime culinary high at one of Durban’s most unforgettable dining spots.
Nestled in the stern of the Phantom Ship at uShaka Marine World, the Cargo Hold restaurant offers one of Durban’s most spectacular culinary settings.
The restaurant, with its array of sea creatures, will form part of the experience that is sure to make this daily lunch special even more memorable.
With a menu designed specifically for our lady diners, there is the option of three starters; that of, Chicken noodle soup – a home-made chicken noodle soup with carrots, celery and chicken strips; Grilled Calamari – peri-peri Patagonian calamari, grilled and served with savory basmati rice and a cucumber-yoghurt raita or Trinchado featuring tender fillet steak strips, fresh garlic, lime and bay leaves with a creamy white wine sauce.
Main meals include a choice of seared chicken breast, served on a mushroom, herb and parmesan linguine drizzled with truffle oil; Grilled sirloin – a 200g beef sirloin served on baby potatoes complimented by a béarnaise sauce or Line fish – grilled to perfection and served with chips and lemon butter sauce
All our lady guests will be served a complimentary glass of Boschendal house wine with their meal.
