Powder & Pout is a private, feminine space, where professional make-up artist Lara Kellaway will teach you the tricks of the trade – helping you enhance your natural features
“This is about more than make-up,” says Lara. “It’s about making women of all ages feel good about themselves. I know what it’s like to be kept busy with family and never have the time to focus on oneself. Powder & Pout offers fun time with friends or some time out for yourself in an ultra feminine environment.”
Lara began her career as a beauty therapist, but always dabbled in make-up. After her twins were born, she established herself as a make-up artist, working with magazines including Longevity and House & Leisure, as well as TV and modelling agencies. She then took time out to study a BA Psychology but missed the interaction with women.
“I know how important it is to feel comfortable in your own skin and make-up is a big part of that. I want to help women get it right,” she says.
Forget about sitting in a bright, noisy shopping mall, bare-faced and self-conscious! Consultations at Powder & Pout are by appointment only, so the time is all your own – no interruptions.
“I aim to find a look that suits you and your lifestyle, whether that be completely natural or a bit more glamorous,” says Lara. “I want my clients to feel comfortable to come back until they’re confident applying their own make-up, and to explore new looks.”
Whether you’re after a one-on-one consultation, group workshop, pamper party or make-up application for that special event, Powder & Pout has the answer for you. Young girls are invited to learn the art of skin care, make-up and grooming in a fun, interactive course.
Powder & Pout also stocks a range of professional make-up to suit all skin types and colours, so you can take your favourite products home. Gift vouchers are available and make a wonderful gift.
“I can’t wait to help you create that perfect look, so please give me a call!”
