The King is back! Catch ‘Elvis Forever’ at The Barnyard Theatre in Gateway this month for a hip-swinging tribute to rock ‘n roll’s most legendary performer.
Elvis was one of the world’s greatest singers and entertainers and shook up the music industry for three decades. ‘Elvis Forever’ pays tribute to this incredible musical superstar.
The show is a non-stop nostalgic rush that takes you back to an age of discovery where people enjoyed life and rocked like there was no tomorrow.
This spectacular show captures the onstage excitement of Elvis’ greatest performances and energetically reproduces hits spanning the 50s, 60s and Vega-70s.
You can look forward to hearing timeless hits such as Hound Dog, Jailhouse Rock, Love Me Tender, Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Always On My Mind and Viva Las Vegas.
Shaky Russell will be the man with the microphone, showing why he’s an award-winning Elvis impersonator.
Shaky was born to be an entertainer and his late dad encouraged him to pursue his dreams from a young age. “I was bouncing to the tunes of Elvis before I could walk”, says Shaky.
So put on your Blue Suede Shoes and get ready to Shake, Rattle & Roll! ‘Elvis Forever’ promises to rock both young and old in true Elvis spirit!
The show will run at The Barnyard Theatre from 14 to 26 January. Tickets cost R105 per person from Wednesday to Saturday, with discounted specials of R70 per person every Tuesday night and Sunday matinee show.
