I won a makeover!

“I was so excited and grateful to have won this makeover,” said Debbie Harrison from Hillcrest, who received a fashion and beauty makeover worth R40 000, compliments of Image Insured and associates.

“Clearly, I needed a lot of help in the image and colour department! Over the last two months I have enjoyed finding out how to improve my looks with the use of colour and style, plus a beautiful set of new veneers and body treatments. The grand finale came with the new clothes and hairstyle. I feel so much more confident. A huge thank you to everyone involved.”

“It was an absolute delight working with Debbie,” said Fay and Megan of Image Insured. “We did a ‘colour and figure’ assessment on her, finding that she had warm undertones and a V-shaped figure. We then went about correcting this by bringing more warmth into her hair, make-up and clothing, and balancing her body by narrowing her shoulders and choosing slightly flared jeans.”

Grant of Scott & Wells added golden and red brunette to Debbie’s hair and cut square layers into the mid-length for texture. Truworths Pavilion gave her a generous clothing voucher as part of her prize to complete her new look.

Dr David Swart of Kloof said, “It was a pleasure working with Debbie. Lourens Prinsloo (ceramist) and I did five porcelain veneers, three zirconia crowns and a bridge… Move over Julia Roberts.”

Moi Day Spa did six VelaShape sessions on Debbie, who lost 38.8cm and 6kg in six weeks. VelaShape helps with weight loss, cellulite and centimetre reduction, skin tightening and boosts metabolism. Debbie also received E-style laser skin tightening, which stimulates the production of collagen and smoothes out fine lines, plus a series of Dermalogica age-smart facials every two weeks.
