On Tuesday, the long awaited launch of Taste of Durban took place at Suncoast Hotel. This event has already happened in 16 cities from London to Jo’burg and it’s a huge honour for Durban to be hosting it.
It takes place from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 July, admission is R80. Once inside you can buy a book of coupons, pair up with a wine estate and eat and drink until you drop. With restaurants like Hartford House, Cafe 1999, 9th Avenue Bistro, Jewel of India and Simply Asia from Ballito cooking in individual kitchens, you’ll be in foodie heaven!
With the City doing its best to turn Durban into the Festival Capital of South Africa, we should all celebrate our luck and get down to Suncoast this July.
