Midlands spa heaven!

Stunning views from Indigo Fields

A visit to Indigo Fields is filled with beautiful moments. From the warm welcome to breakfast by the pool and top-notch treatments, you can’t help but be enchanted by the place!

Set in the rolling hills of Nottingham Road, this family-run retreat is an idyllic escape from everyday life. Whether you want some quality time with your mum, daughter, friends or partner, this is for you.

One of the things that makes Indigo Fields so special is the treatment bomas tucked away in fairy-like coves, a short escorted drive away. This gives you a chance to soak up the exquisite views and offers the ultimate privacy. Feel the breeze on your back while you have a massage and look out into a secluded stand of trees. The soundtrack is of birdsong and a bubbling stream – what could be more relaxing?!

Feeling completely blissed out after a massage in the sunshine

For those winter visits, you’ll be offered hot water bottles and cosy ponchos, and the bomas are heated with atmospheric log fires, another beautiful take on the experience.

Therapists are all from the local community (a principle central to the ethos at Indigo Fields) and use Victorian Garden products, which are local and organic. By the time you leave, you’ll have been scrubbed, steamed, massaged and pampered to perfection!

Food is light in the morning, heavier in the evening, but always delicious! And you can be as decadent or saintly as you like – bubbly with breakfast … truffle sundowners? Yes, please! A breakfast of fresh fruit and pastries served next to the pool set the tone for the next 24-hours. If it’s privacy you’re after, dinner can be delivered to your suite.

Decor-lovers will find something to covet at every turn. The property has been decorated by co-owner Jennifer Hindle, who is a qualified interior decorator and has a knack for finding unique pieces.

All rooms are beautifully appointed and whisper “luxury”, with plump cushions, soft couches and plenty of reading material and games, if you are so inclined. Otherwise, sit back in a comfy chair and let your cares melt away.

It’s difficult to capture just how special Indigo Fields is, but it seems to exist in a stress-free zone, where every detail is tailored to ensure that you have the best time possible. In short, it’s heaven!

This has got to be one of the best places in our country to go and be pampered…just to relax, unwind and forget about the rest of the world. I have been 4 times and each time is better than the last! And the best part for your man…the food is just as amazing as the treatments – and there’s plenty of it 🙂 if you haven’t been…you are SO missing out!
