This ‘My Dad Rocks’ frame is the perfect DIY Father’s Day Gift that dad could proudly display on his desk at work.
Materials:
- Wood Picture frame
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brush
- Tacky glue
- Decorative rocks
- Scrapbook paper (at least the size of your frame)
- Markers
- Brown paper bag
Method:
On a flat and protected surface (try wax paper), paint your frame with a coat of paint. Mix two colours together to get more of a rocky colour. Let dry.
Use tacky glue to attach rocks to frame. Put glue on the rock and press it into the frame. Let dry overnight before moving.
Cut a decorative piece of scrapbook paper to fit into your frame. Hint: Use the paper that is in the frame as a template.
Use a brown paper bag to write “My Dad Rocks.” Tear or cut and attach to scrapbook paper with glue or tape. Place in frame and give to dad.
