Suncoast Casino, Hotels & Entertainment (SUNCOAST) will be hosting an exciting adult Pantomime show for the third year running.
The adult pantomine, Romeo & Juliet: an East Coast Story, is a spoof of the 1950s American West Side Story. The show will run at SUNCOAST from 12 November until 31 December.
Inspired by the most famous love story of all time – Shakespeare’s well-known tragedy – the show is a re-enactment of this story with a distinctly grown-up twist that will provide the audience with a mix of naughty comedy, lots of well-known songs and a fair amount of risqué one-liners presented in an excellent stage performance.
The previous pantomime shows, Alice in Wonderland and Wizard of Oz, have been a great hit with Durban audiences. The show is produced by Sue Clarence, who said: “It is a wonderfully grown-up night out for companies, clubs and associations as well as groups and couples looking for a fun way to celebrate the festive season.”
This year’s show will be tailor made for the Durban market and national holidaymakers to enjoy. The show will incorporate a musical element combined with dialogue humour, presented in an informal dinner-theatre setup.
Mike Dowsley, Executive Director at SUNCOAST said: “Adult Panto is a great way to celebrate the arrival of the festive season and as with previous Adult Panto productions, Romeo and Juliet is sure to be hilarious with side-splitting humour and mischievous comedy.”
No shows on Mondays except 23 and 30 December. There will be no show on Christmas Day.
