Your body has a CANNABINOIDAL system which learns as you experience. Let’s say you get your first headache at three years old and your mom gives you an Aspirin. Your body has just learnt that Aspirins cure headaches. If the next time you have a headache your mom gives you a different painkiller, your body will make the pain worse because it wants an Aspirin.
Now let’s say you stub your toe and then take a painkiller. The painkiller contains a chemical that sends signals to your brain and your toe saying you can no longer access your own body for natural healing – you have to rely on medicine from now on.
Now imagine your brain constantly sending signals to every part of your body telling it what to do next. Every time it comes across a part of the body that is newly under control of medicine (like the Aspirin above) pain is created. So trying to force the body to use medication which it sees as alien to the body can create pain.
By the time you reach middle age, half of your body is under the control of medicine and your body starts to slow down. It has a tantrum and gives you joint pains, muscle pains, headaches and the big one is insomnia. Your body is just trying to tell you something is wrong and it needs help… then with the new pains, you again visit your doctor for more medication and the downward spiral continues.
Listening to your body
Your body reacts to what you think and believe, plus what people tell you. So if a doctor tells you that you have a dread disease and will die in six months, even if you are 100% healthy your body will produce endorphins that will close down all your organs and you will die… in six months.
On the other hand when people say; “I will beat this disease” their body produces endorphins that go around defending the body.
Bearing this in mind, I have had a few people who have taken medical cannabis but as they were scared of it the body would not accept the cannabis as the body thought it was protecting itself.
To change this mindset all it took was for someone to say to them; “You are looking better today – the cannabis must be working,” and their bodies suddenly accepted and a fast change was experienced.
