Outlook Orange – business savvy

By The Crest Magazine01/01/20174 Mins Read
Bonita Cherry

Outlook Orange, the Kloof-based creative business development agency, seeks to answer the fundamental question of “why”, giving your business a master plan for future success

Established in 2009 by Dylan Cherry, Outlook Orange is an agency with a difference. Since 2014, the agency has been lead by Bonita Cherry, a gifted creative with a passion for people. For Bonita, this is more than just a job, it’s a calling to help business-owners succeed and, with that, empower those around them.

This proud St Mary’s Old Girl, wife and mother of three young children manages to make balancing work and family life seem effortless, but she is no stranger to hard work. Bonita is committed to getting the detail right and has a rare ability to interpret a business-owner’s vision, even when they aren’t quite able to articulate it themselves.

In today’s challenging business environment, it can be all too easy to lose direction. That’s where Outlook Orange can and has helped companies change the course of their future. “We strive to give our clients a new perspective, a new reason to believe,” says Bonita.

Outlook Orange’s approach is collaborative, using their knowledge and experience of brand strategy, design and implementation to ensure that there is strong brand meaning and purpose, which will determine lasting success. The team uses its own unique “Visionary Brand Idea Process” and sets about working with brands by asking clients the question “why”.

“We believe that people do not buy what you do, but why you do it,” Bonita explains. “Every business starts with a dream, an idea and a hope. Consumers do not just hand over their hard-earned money to anyone who says they should, even if that business has what they need. Consumers have options, so why would they choose you?”

Recent examples of Outlook Orange’s work include the relaunch of National Road Pharmacy as Thrive (including branding, store design, marketing and communication strategy and implementation) and the creation of the NUVO™ Rubber brand and its range of subsidiaries. This aligned the company’s branding and structure with the innovation and service it offers.

Outlook Orange combines brand strategy (what makes your business work) and aesthetics (the visual appeal that draws customers in). Think of it as the logic and the magic!

“We go beyond economics to help create a brand that is authentic, impactful and that people want to engage with. From there, success will come.” Outlook Orange is poised for growth and would love to take you with them!

To find out what a partnership with this dynamic team could mean for your business, contact Bonita on 072 369 1796 or 031 717 2663, info@outlookorange.com or visit www.outlookorange.com.

It works for us!

* “Our company was in need of a re-brand, but we had no idea of the direction to take. We teamed up with Outlook Orange and we haven’t looked back since! Bonita and her team guided us through the process and devised a new brand that fits perfectly with our strategy and goals. This has assisted greatly in redefining our company image and positioning in the marketplace.”

Donal Ryan, NUVO™ Holdings

* “Six years ago, we approached Outlook Orange to guide us with the marketing of our interior design business. Their insight and innovation has been of immense benefit. They have been of further value in assisting the development of our internal structures, leading to an easier flow in dealing with our clients. I am of the firm belief that the high success rate of what Outlook Orange sets out to achieve is based on their honesty, commitment and innovation.”

Mark Metior, M+M Design

Since working with Outlook Orange on their re-brand, Nuvo™ Rubber has been awarded “best presented company” at a major industry conference.
Outlook Orange helped create a fresh new look and feel for our brand – Thandana Bag – which is in line with our vision. The team were very professional and the process was seamless,” Carla Ashton, owner, Thandana Bag.
Outlook Orange has been committed to seeing the success of Thrive and paid great attention to detail. I am thoroughly happy with the end result,” Lynda Mutsaerts, owner, Thrive.
Bonita and her team managed to portray the brand of our school in a wonderfully authentic way. She listened to our ideas and enhanced them so that the brand identity of our school came to life,” Gina Layzell, Business Manager, Winston Park Primary School.
