According to a recent State of Menopause international study, a staggering 73% of women who have menopause are not treating their condition and symptoms.
To address this alarming statistic, in mid-March 2022 3Sixty Biomedicine introduced a new product within their women’s reproductive health product range that will address symptoms of menopause such as hot flushes, profuse sweating and low mood associated with the condition. The US-based State of Menopause study conducted in July 2021 on 1 039 women aged between 40 to 65, found that 29% of women never sought information about menopause before they experienced it; while 45% didn’t know the difference between perimenopause and menopause. A further 20% of women experienced symptoms for a year or more before being assessed by a healthcare provider and 34% had never been formally assessed or diagnosed as menopausal.
