As Top Gear fever sweeps across Durban, two of East Coast Radio’s most prominent presenters have gone head to head in Ferraris.
But, in typical Top Gear fashion, and much to the surprise of the two presenters, the vehicles were actually two Ferrari peddle go-carts! The fun twist had both Damon Beard and Darren Maule in stitches as they raced around the track.
Petrolheads aren’t alone in their excitement about this weekend’s premier car festival. Caught up in the anticipation, Drive Time presenter, Damon Beard, decided to challenge his colleague, Breakfast Stack’s, Darren Maule, to a lap at Suncoast Casino today.
The dual between both men, who had their pride at stake, proved a fun-filled and exciting build up to the Top Gear festival.
