Then look no further than this new Umhlanga-based company
Here’s the answer to a homeowner’s prayer. We’re all familiar with that unreliable builder, the dodgy plumber, a so-called painter, who’ve not pitched, botched the job, or scarpered with the money before even starting the work.
Forget them.
FreshReno, an exciting new concept in town, is there to take the pain out of alterations, renovations, and building.
Based right here in Umhlanga, the franchise is all about saving you time, money, and convenience. And helping you give your home a fresh new look, or creating better living space, at the best price and quality.
Here’s how it works:
“We take ownership and accountability of your renovation requirements” explained GM Rudi Stander. “We know how challenging it is to find reliable, trustworthy, quality renovators and builders. We project manage the entire job, using our specialised team of experts, and our sub-contractors can do anything from painting, tiling, insulating, electrical and plumbing to cladding. We have rigorously checked builders with excellent references on hand, and homeowners no longer need battle to source reliable, top quality people for their jobs.”
FreshReno is even more novel in that it’s a franchise system, which aims to expand its footprint nationally.
Explained Stander: “We want to build a quality brand on which you can rely and trust. To restore that faith in the industry, which, let’s face it, has been slowly eroded, thanks to fly-by-night operators.”
FreshReno is on the hunt for quality builders and project managers, or combinations of the two, for people with solid reputations.
“Expanding the number of franchises will enable us to service a larger geographical area and if there’s an urgent job, we can allocate resources from one of the other franchises, saving time, money and ensuring agility around how projects are managed. This approach is a win-win for franchisees and customers”
Helping smooth the process is a web-based system FreshReno has developed referred to as ICAP: Integrated Customer Activity Portal, which is easily accessed from your Blackberry, smartphone, or internet capable devise.
“Every single lead gets logged, with a scheduler sending a mail and text to the franchisee to which it has been allocated. There’s a client-agreed window for FreshReno to contact that customer, and franchisees log back on to update the details. This process is replicated at each stage of the project lifecycle. Updates are sent regularly, and the whole process is tracked so customer expectations are proactively managed. It’s an efficient and fool proof way of keeping your job on target.”
A major selling point for customers is that FreshReno uses no “bakkie labour from the side of the road”. “Only reputable, top-end staff with traceable references and qualifications are employed across the business. All franchisees are required to be current master builder association members”
All projects have a handover foreman to undertake quality assurance on completion.
