The market differs from others by taking place in the enclosed parking area at the Umhlanga Centre, meaning that it is unaffected by the weather.
It also offers stalls which are selling items that are a lot more upmarket (hence the name), such as art pieces, crafts, fashion, foods and gifts, among others.
Upmarket Umhlanga is open every Sunday from 9am to 4pm after its 1 December launch.
